White Series
The White series 6 in all is a monochromatic investigation into the architecture of the subconscious. Utilizing a restricted palette of white, blue and copper, the work mimics the hazy, overexposed quality of half-remembered visions, inviting the viewer to navigate a topography defined by light and shadow rather than color. This tactile surface mimics the way dreams feel in the moment—heavy, structured, and undeniably real—despite their eventual evaporation upon waking. Woven into this sculptural landscape are found objects, acting as anchors to reality. These discarded fragments mirror the brain’s tendency to incorporate daily remnants into the dream state, transforming the debris of waking life into "ivory-hard" monuments of the biological self—the place where the discarded becomes sacred.
