Artist Statement 
Sally Frank’s work is a quiet meditation on the dialogue between nature and memory. Drawing inspiration from the forests, waterways, and open landscapes that surrounded her throughout life, she translates the rhythms of the natural world into a visual language of movement and form. Each print becomes an echo of the earth—delicate yet deliberate, reflecting both the strength and fragility of what endures. 

Her process is deeply intuitive, rooted in observation but guided by emotion. Through layered techniques in intaglio, lithography, and relief printing, she captures fleeting interactions of light, wind, and water as they pass through the landscape. Branches, grasses, and shadows emerge as poetic symbols of renewal, revealing the constant interplay between stillness and transformation. 

Frank’s compositions invite viewers to slow down and reconnect with the living patterns of the world around them. Beneath their surface lies a reverence for the natural order, a recognition that beauty exists not in perfection, but in the quiet persistence of life itself.
